The new Abu Garcia Cardinal 400i series of freshwater spinning reels offers Stealth Oscillation for a quieter, smoother retrieve and improved line lay on the spool.

Filling the niche between the Cardinal 300i and Cardinal 500 ALBi, the new 400i family is built on a lightweight advance polymeric body and rotor. Additional features include a 7+1 bearing configuration. The Everlast Bail System is heavy duty for durability and long life. The bail won’t flex or bend out of shape. All Cardinal 400 reels have a gear ratio of 5.1:1.

The 6.3 oz Cardinal 400Ui is ideal for ultralight situations where 2, 3 and 4 lb test line is needed. The reel has a line capacity of 100 yds of 4 lb test mono fishing line. The Cardinal 401i weighs 7.0 oz and holds 110 yds of 6 lb test; the Cardinal 402i weighs 8.9 oz with capacity for 175 yds of 6 lb test; and the 9.9 oz Cardinal 404i can be spooled with 210 yds of 10 lb test.
